Employee directory and org chart
Employee directory and org chart
Who is who, who reports to whom, and who to ask about what — in one place, not in a slide someone drew a year ago. Plus the dates nobody should have to remember by hand.
How it works during a normal day
- 1
Data arrives from the HR system
Employees, departments, job titles and start dates are imported over the open API, or loaded once from CSV. Manual entry is left for what the HR system does not hold.
- 2
The structure builds itself
Departments, managers and reporting lines assemble into a tree, which you can then read as a list, a tree or an interactive org chart depending on the question.
- 3
Someone looks a person up
By name, department, job title or work mode. From the result straight into a profile with contacts, and from the profile into the department, the manager and the team.
- 4
People fill in what they choose to
Photo, a short bio, skills, a status like "away until 5 July". Not an HR form — a way to be findable for the right reasons.
- 5
The portal remembers the dates
Upcoming birthdays and anniversaries are on the home page, with a reminder in advance rather than on the day or after it.
- 6
Wishes become one card
Colleagues post on the event feed, add reactions, and the assistant helps those who freeze at the blank field. By the end of the day it collects into a single card.
What it is made of
Three views of the structure
A department tree, an interactive org chart and a flat list. The chart expands level by level, works on a phone, and gives a link that opens straight at the right branch.
A department link opens inside that branch
Department card
Members, manager, links into profiles. It opens over the chart rather than navigating away from it.
An honest work-mode summary
How many people are in the office, remote and hybrid — counted from data rather than from impressions. Useful exactly when someone is planning space or a meeting.

Directory with search and filters
Search by name, filters by department, job title and work mode, grid or list view. Found in seconds instead of "ask HR".
Everything about an employee on one profile
Photo, job title, department, contacts, bio, skills and a public status with an emoji and an end date. People edit their own profile themselves.
"Away until 5 July" is visible to colleagues
Own absences in the profile
People mark the dates they will be away. Approved absences can be imported from the HR system over the API.
New joiners in plain sight
A widget showing who started recently, so a new hire is noticed in their first week rather than a quarter later on an all-hands call.
Birthdays and work anniversaries
An upcoming-dates widget with a configurable horizon, reminders in advance, an event page with a feed of wishes and reactions, AI-suggested wording and a final card. Milestone anniversaries are configured separately.
People can hide their own birthday
HR operations
Editing profiles, granting access, deactivating and reinstating people, reference lists of job titles and work locations, CSV and API import.
Headcount analytics
Headcount, tenure, new joiners, turnover — with CSV export. Not a report for its own sake, but an answer to "what is happening to the team".
The person is separate from the job
In the data model the person, the account and the employment are separate records. A promotion, a transfer or working under two legal entities does not create a second copy of someone.
Recognition and learning history stays with the person
